About Clare B. Dunkle Pictures from My Life
in Europe When I began writing books, my family was living in Germany. We lived there while my first four books were published. Readers wrote to ask about Europe, so I put up these pages to share some of the wonderful things we encountered there. We lived in Germany for seven years before moving back home to Texas in 2007. My daughters spent almost their entire adolescence out of the United States. For the first year, every time I looked around, I thought, “That
looks like a postcard!” After a while, I didn’t notice
anymore, but preparing these pages made me see it again. There is
